About our program

When we started our program the number one goal was to produce a healthy, well-balanced puppy. That goal stands true today!

Here at 11 Oaks, we strive to produce healthy and strong dogs. We raise all of our pups as if they are family members because for those shorts 8 weeks, they are! When we send you home with a pup, we know that we gave that dog the best shot possible at being successful in their new home life with you!

We start exposing our puppies to real life as soon as they are born. We want the pups to have the best chances of adaption to their new life with you smoothly! We expose the puppies to all sorts of real-life smells, noises and materials. All in a safe, clean and controlled manner. We start crating them for short periods of time so they can get used to it slowly and without panic. Typically, when pups leave our care, they are started on house-training as well. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Early Neurological Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Socialized with Other Animals, Socialized with Cats, Socialized with Children, Scent Introduction, Noise desensitization, "No" Biting or Chewing, Litter Box Trained, Puppy Manners, Crate Training, Potty Training and Puppy Culture.

our promise to our dogs:

When we produce a dog, we are committed to that dog for its lifetime. If at ANYTIME during that dog's life you can no longer keep it, every dog produced by us will always have a home here and can be brought back and we will help find them a new home.

About Our Dogs and Pups

All of our dogs are purebred and AKC registered. We do not breed any sort of crossbreeds. We health test all of our dogs and we believe that breeding dogs from generations of health tested dogs gives us the best chance at producing dogs free of things like Hip and Elbow dysplasia. We believe in the lines we have in our family. While there is never a guarantee, we take every precaution we can to send you home with happy, healthy puppy!

All of our dogs get the pleasure of living on a "farm". They roam 5 acres with us daily and during the summer they get to enjoy the various local lakes! All of our dogs are raised to (or learn) to co-exist and live with horses, goats/sheep, cows and poultry.

Puppy health

When a puppy leaves our care at 8 weeks of age, it will have a minimum of 2 shots. One shot is for parvo (Neopar brand) to give an extra layer of protection and the other shot is a 5-way which is the start of the series you must continue once your pup arrives at home. In addition to the vaccines, your pup will have been dewormed 3-4 times with two brands of dewormer.

We work really hard to send you home with the healthiest pup. From vaccines to parasite control and food quality it's all very serious to us!

In addition to this we practice very serious biosecurity. We do this to protect your pup and their littermates from diseases they can get before they are completely vaccinated.
